Address Significant Wrong Beliefs About Easter
Wrong beliefs and practices #1: Our Saviour Jesus Christ was sacrificed like a sinless lamb to God. And crucifying our Saviour Jesus Christ calmed the anger of God.
As analyzed in Understand Our God, our God has a coherent personality and ways of doing things in front of different individuals, religions, races, and nations. It is also reasonable to infer that our God has a coherent personality and ways of doing things across time.
The personalities and ways of doing things of God in Heaven

Genesis 2:8 God planted a garden toward the east, in Eden; and there He placed the man whom He had formed.
Genesis 2:15 Then God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to cultivate it and tend it.
Genesis 2:16 God commanded the man, saying, “From any tree of the garden you may freely eat;
Genesis 2:17 but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, or you will die.”
Genesis 2:18 Then God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.”
Genesis 2:21 So God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; then He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh at that place.
Genesis 2:22 And God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man.
What personalities and ways of doing things of God in Heaven do these verses show?
- Our God provides the resources for work. Our God planted the Garden of Eden. Our God made the man and woman (i.e., the first human spirits Adam and Eve) to cultivate and tend the Garden of Eden. This is similar to a work relationship where a boss owns a garden and hires some people to work in the garden.
- Our God is generous about work fruits. Our God allowed the man to eat from any tree in the garden except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
- Our God is considerate, caring, and loving. Our God made a suitable helper for the man to keep him company.
- Our God is caring and gentle. Our God caused the man a deep sleep while taking one of his ribs and closing up the flesh.
The personalities and ways of doing things of LORD on Earth

Genesis 4:1 Now the man had relations with his wife Eve, and she conceived and gave birth to Cain, and she said, “I have obtained a male child with the help of the LORD.”
Genesis 4:2 And again, she gave birth to his brother Abel. Now Abel was a keeper of flocks, but Cain was a cultivator of the ground.
Genesis 4:3 So it came about in the course of time that Cain brought an offering to the LORD from the fruit of the ground.
Genesis 4:4 Abel, on his part also brought an offering, from the firstborn of his flock and from their fat portions. And the LORD had regard for Abel and his offering;
Genesis 4:5 but for Cain and his offering He had no regard. So Cain became very angry and his face was gloomy.
Genesis 4:6 Then the LORD said to Cain, “Why are you angry? And why is your face gloomy?
Genesis 4:7 “If you do well, will your face not be cheerful? And if you do not do well, sin is lurking at the door; and its desire is for you, but you must master it.”
Genesis 4:8 Cain talked to his brother Abel; and it happened that when they were in the field Cain rose up against his brother Abel and killed him.
After eating the forbidden fruits, Adam and Eve felt very ashamed of being naked. Therefore, God clothed them with garments of skin, and sent them to our Earth. Adam and Eve were originally created as human spirits. So clothing them with garments of skin means tying their spirits to their human bodies. When a spirit is tied to a human body, like everyone in our human world, he/she cannot directly see or hear spirits under normal circumstances. Consequently, starting Genesis 4:1, Adam and Eve (and all other humans) could not directly see or hear the spirit who claimed to be God or LORD.
Now, what personalities and ways of doing things of LORD on Earth do Genesis 4:1-4:8 show?
- LORD demanded offerings from Abel and Cain. LORD did not own the land or flocks. LORD did not hire Abel or Cain to work for him. LORD did not pay Abel or Cain for their work fruits, either. Instead, LORD just sat there to be worshipped by Abel and Cain, and demanded offerings from Abel and Cain from their hard work. This is substantially different from the work relationship between God and Adam and Eve in Heaven.
LORD loved Abel’s offering of meat and hated Cain’s offering of fruits. Remember, in the Garden of Eden, God created the first human spirit Adam to grow fruits for Him, not to raise flocks. Why would God suddenly love meat and hate fruits? Unless, this LORD is not God. This LORD also showed no regard for Cain’s feelings.
- LORD caused Cain to kill his brother Abel. Imagine that you and your brother both give gifts to a local celebrity. The local celebrity likes your brother’s gift but ignores your gift. How will you feel about it? What will your responses be? You may feel embarrassed, upset, and even a little jealous of your brother. You can tell yourself to bring something different next time, or indulge yourself in some eating and shopping. However, it probably will never cross your mind to kill your brother for this incident.
Remember, Cain chose to be a cultivator of the ground. This was what Adam and Eve were created to do in the Garden of Eden. So we can infer that Cain seemed to be a good, traditional boy who listened and followed his parents. Cain did not appear to be rebellious or violent. However, Cain suddenly killed his brother Abel due to a small incident. We know evil spirits can cause and exaggerate anger and frustration, and seduce and urge a gentle person to suddenly act violently and recklessly. Now, let’s look at what LORD said immediately before Cain killed his brother. In Genesis 4:7, LORD said that Cain did not do well in his offering and sin was lurking at the door. These words implied that LORD was planning on causing Cain to kill Abel.
Why would LORD cause Cain to kill Abel, instead of causing Abel to kill Cain? After all, LORD appeared to like Abel and dislike Cain. When a human body dies, the spirit is released to the spiritual worlds. So when Abel’s human body dies, Abel’s spirit will be released and go to LORD. Abel went against his parents, listened to LORD, and chose to be a keeper of flocks. Abel killed the firstborn of his flocks and offered the fat portions to LORD. Abel appeared to be very obedient to LORD, and he was willing to kill for LORD. So LORD wanted Abel to be with him and help him do evil things. Consequently, LORD caused Cain to kill Abel’s human body. In our human history, when an evil spirit leader struggled and needed more followers in the spiritual worlds, the evil spirit leader planned massacres of his own followers in our human world, too.
Considering all the circumstances, it is reasonable to conclude that LORD caused Cain to kill his brother Abel. This shows that LORD loved killing, was blood-thirsty and cruel, and had no regard for human life.
In sum, God in Heaven is generous, considerate, caring, loving, and gentle, and had a work relationship with the first human spirits Adam and Eve. By contrast, LORD on Earth demanded offerings from other people’s hard work, had no regard for other people’s feelings, loved killing, was blood-thirsty and cruel, and had no regard for human life. Consequently, God in Heaven and LORD on Earth demonstrated almost opposite personalities and ways of doing things.
As stated earlier, our God has a coherent personality and ways of doing things in front of different individuals and across time. How many years did Adam and Eve live in the Garden of Eden before eating the forbidden fruits? It can easily be hundreds to thousands of years. When did the events in Genesis 4:1-4:8 occur? They most likely occurred within the first 100 years of Adam and Eve being sent to our Earth. That was when the children of Adam and Eve started working and brought offerings to LORD. Our God probably had lived for billions of years before creating Adam and Eve. Our God would not drastically change His personalities and ways of doing things over a few hundred years. Consequently, the opposite personalities and ways of doing things of LORD on Earth came from one or more evil spirits, NOT our God. We can even find some evidence in Genesis. Although starting Genesis 4:1, Adam and Eve could not directly see or hear spirits, they must be able to tell that compared to God in Heaven, LORD had a drastically different personality and ways of doing things. Now, note in Genesis 3:2-3:3, the woman (Eve) addressed our God as “God”. “God” is actually the name of our God. But in Genesis 4:1, Eve addressed the spirit differently as “LORD”. So “LORD” probably was the name of the evil spirit. Consequently, “Lord” can refer to an evil spirit leader. Please do not pray to “Lord” anymore.
It’s critical to distinguish our God from evil spirits because we worship our God. When evil spirits pretend to be God and trick you into believing that they were God, evil spirits can gain deep access to your human body and take significant control of your mind and body. Then evil spirits can harm you whenever you do some good deeds and get closer to the true God. To be set free from evil spirits, you have to constantly recognize who is the true God and who are evil spirits pretending to be God. From Genesis 4:1-4:8 and the above analysis, we can conclude that the belief and practice of offering and sacrificing live animals to God actually came from evil spirits. In human history, it developed into the practice of offering and sacrificing live humans to fake gods and fake goddesses. It is never our God’s value or practice to demand or accept sacrifices of live animals or humans. Applying this to Easter, it is totally wrong to believe that our God wanted our Saviour Jesus Christ to be sacrificed to Him like a sinless lamb. Our God will never want anybody to be killed and sacrificed to Him, not to say His own first son. So our Saviour Jesus Christ did not have to be a special sinless offering and sacrifice to God. Then, our Saviour Jesus Christ did not have to have a special birth like being conceived by the power of the holy spirit and born by a virgin.
The story of Virgin Mary giving birth to the human body of our Saviour Jesus Christ by the power of the holy spirit is completely fake because
1) Our current biology, together with fossils and archaeology from millions of years before the birth and thousands of years after the birth can all prove that different species do not mate and produce babies. Even in rare cases, cross-species babies were always weak and could not live long. This shows that our God has a fundamental Law that different species cannot mate and produce babies.
2) Spirits and humans are technically in two different worlds, subject to different sets of our God’s Laws. According to the 4 gospels, in the days when our Saviour Jesus Christ was a human, people did not appear to see or hear spirits directly. In addition, fossils and archaeology have never proved any spirit making a human pregnant, except for this fake story. Today, we still cannot see or hear spirits directly (Note 1). Spirits still cannot make humans pregnant (Note 2). This shows that our God has established fundamental Laws governing spirits and humans from two different worlds, for example, humans cannot directly see or hear spirits, and spirits cannot make humans pregnant.
3) Our own real experiences with our God across time can prove that our God never violates His own Laws, and our God never makes an exception for Himself, His own family members, or His workers. In addition, our own real experiences with our God across time can prove that all our God’s Laws for humans apply equally to every human, including humans whose spirits are holy angels and Living Lights (e.g., our Saviour Jesus Christ). Consequently, the birth of the human body of our Saviour Jesus Christ would be just like any other humans, not an exception.
4) Suppose that Mary conceived the human body of our Saviour Jesus Christ by some divine power. Then Mary must know that the baby is very special and destined to work for God. Then Mary must fully support our Saviour Jesus Christ’ missions, and probably ask her other sons to follow our Saviour Jesus Christ. However, in reality, none of the 4 gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John showed that Mary supported our Saviour Jesus Christ’s missions. Mary and her other sons did not follow our Saviour Jesus Christ, and they were not there even when our Saviour Jesus Christ was crucified. This proves that our Saviour Jesus Christ was born just like any other humans, not by a virgin through some divine power.
As analyzed in Understand Our God, our reasonable and good emotions and feelings came from our God. Conversely, we can assume that our God has the same or very similar emotions and feelings if they are good and reasonable. If a person kills your first child, how will you feel? Will it calm your anger? It probably will only calm the anger of your bitter enemies. Consequently, crucifying our Saviour Jesus Christ caused our God’s anger. It only calmed the anger of our God’s bitter enemies, led by Satan. Satan was crucified on a spiritual cross and died in March 2018.
Note 1: Seen from photos and videos, human spirits and angel spirits appear less than 1 cm tall. The ghosts/demons/evil spirits you directly see and feel are merely images, illusions, and videos displayed by evil spirits.
Note 2: Evil spirits may cause you vivid feelings of having sex with a spirit who claims to be our God, our Saviour Jesus Christ, or a holy angel. In fact, groups of evil spirits work together to cause you vivid sexual feelings, desires, images, illusions, and videos in and near your body. When you are a human in our human world, you simply cannot have any real sex with a spirit.
Evil spirits may trick you into believing that you can get pregnant after the “sex” and give birth to a human baby. However, you will never get pregnant and give birth to a human baby after “sex” with a spirit.
Evil spirits may also cause you pain, feelings, images, illusions, and videos of giving birth to a spiritual baby and even holding a spiritual baby. They are just pain, feelings, images, illusions, and videos caused and displayed by evil spirits. When you are a human in our human world, you simply cannot get pregnant and give birth to a spiritual baby after “sex” with a spirit.
During the periods of “sex” with a spirit (who claims to be our God, our Saviour Jesus Christ, or a holy angel), you will most likely experience a lot more physical suffering, and your words and behaviors will likely be abnormal. This shows that you are troubled by more evil spirits, who gain a lot of access and control of your mind and body during the “sex”. It proves that your “sex” is with evil spirits, instead of our God, our Saviour Jesus Christ, or a holy angel.
In sum, when you are a human in our human world, you simply cannot have any real sex with a spirit, and you cannot possibly get pregnant after “sex” with a spirit and give birth to a human baby or a spiritual baby. This is banned by our God’s fundamental Laws governing humans and spirits.
Wrong belief and practice #2: Mary was involved in some manner immediately before or after the death of the human body of our Saviour Jesus Christ.
Mary was the mother of the human body of our Saviour Jesus Christ. The 4 gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John did not record anything related to Mary immediately before or after the death of the human body of our Saviour Jesus Christ. None of the Bible verses said that Mary followed our Saviour Jesus Christ when He preached the gospel and healed the sick. None of the Bible verses showed in any way that Mary was supportive of our Saviour Jesus Christ’s mission and work. Matthew 12:47-12:50 even implied that Mary and her other sons tried to take our Saviour Jesus Christ home and stop His mission and work.
Consequently, the following are completely fake stories:
- Our Saviour Jesus Christ asked some people to take care of his mother Mary immediately before the death of His human body on the cross.
- Mary hugged and wept over our Saviour Jesus Christ’s dead human body after the crucifixion.
We all wish that a mother is caring, loving, and supportive. We all wish that a mother will be by the side of a dying son. However, we have to fully respect the truth and facts, and prevent our wishful thinking from jeopardizing our beliefs. We have to admit the truth and facts that Mary was not supportive of our Saviour Jesus Christ’s mission and work, and she was not there even when He was crucified.
We only worship our God in the name of our Saviour Jesus Christ. We shall not worship Mary in any manner.
Wrong belief and practice #3: Celebrate Easter bunnies and Easter Eggs
Easter is for remembering the crucifixion and resurrection of our Saviour Jesus Christ, and reminding us of the hope for eternal life in Heaven.
What do bunnies and eggs have anything to do with Easter? However, when you ask a child what he/she thinks of Easter, he/she probably will say Easter bunnies and Easter eggs. So like Santa stealing Christmas from our Saviour Jesus Christ, Easter bunnies and Easter eggs also steal Easter from our Saviour Jesus Christ. Please return Easter to our Saviour Jesus Christ.
We love cuteness. However, Easter is a life-and-death event. It is not appropriate to look cute or do cute things at a life-and-death event. So please do not use or celebrate any Easter bunnies or Easter eggs anymore.
